New Gutters for Tinkerbelle

Tinkerbelle was looking to simply forget the quietness of the end room (we're not allowed to call it Trelawny's room anymore because she just starts to sob) so Tinkerbelle joined me at Thursday night bowling with the boys. Greg, Dave and Don were all in fine form and had convinced me a I needed a new ball, so last Saturday, Tink and I went shopping. Thursday was the big night - the first throw of the new, heavier ball.
It could have gone a little better.
Seems the drill holes for the thumb aren't going in the same direction as my thumb. This is a bit of a problem. I suspect that Dennis at the bowling shop just wanted me to come back so he could hold my hand some more.
We christened the new ball anyway, and then after throwing a few strikes and a few stinkers, we retired to the pizza and bar area where, thankfully, they were not holding Kareoke that night. Tinkerbelle got to meet Barb, Greg's wife, and see if John is really as tough as he wants us to think.

Tink At Erik of Norway

Tinkerbelle was a big help when Lori got her nails done.
Nettie says hello! and wants Trelawny to enjoy all there is in Burgundy - she was quite jealous and wished Trel well.

Just another Wednesday

So, not wanting to break with routine, I brought Tinkerbelle to Taylor & Dunn's Trivia with the girls on Wednesday. We yet again came in second place, and although it wasn't to Outsource This or the Diamonds, it was to a new pair of folks sitting at the bar. Tinkerbelle would have been great at flying through the air to sneak a listen into other teams' answers but.. No. Tinkerbelle, in a very un-Disneylike move went headfirst into Robin's Miller Lite and was promptly soused. Jano, Renee, Andy, Mark, Jeri, Katie and Robin, by the way, send their bonjours. Oh! and I remembered to ask for some cayenne pepper to be added to my thousand island dressing to make it more Russian and YUMMY it was very good!

Tink tried to help out around the house, hoping to lessen the huge gap left by Trelawny. She was nearly eaten by the despondent Rain.
Sunday's routine brought a little comfort as there were many issues of the Christian Science Sentinel that needed to be straightened in the pews. Jim, the adorable soloist's rendition of "God is Love" brought a tear to nearly every eye. The Subject of Love is Lori's horoscope sign. She's always wondered about those born under "Ancient and Modern Necromancy.." and if it affects their personality.

Tinkerbelle wasn't really understanding that there was no ride to work on Saturday.. but she tried very hard to be ready, just in case.

Tink didn't take the separation very well. She kept entering Trelawny's and Belle's room, seeing it so empty, and breaking down. It was brutal.
Eventually she drowned her sorrows in work and tried to immerse herself in the business of trucking, much like Lori. It was brutal.
